Green Home Finance is a division of Green Building Africa Environmental Solutions (PTY) LTD.
You are bound, exclusively, as a customer, by the Green Home Finance terms and conditions on purchasing, registering or applying for any one of our product, promotional or service offerings. Any attempt to alter, supplement, modify or amend these terms and conditions by the customer or user of this site will be considered a material alteration of this agreement and, therefore null and void.
Order Processing Time
Our system is designed to generate a job card if an application is made on our website or a visitor contacts us via our ‘Contact us’ platform. If required a delivery instruction is sent electronically to the business entity responsible for processing. Generally, you can expect your application or order to be processed within 48 hours.
In the case where a visitors link directly to a specific banks or insurance providers application process, the relevant business entity responsible will contact you to confirm receipt and processing lead times. In such a case Green Home Finance accepts no responsibility whatsoever for the application process offered and the ultimate outcome from such a process. However, such an application process generally takes no longer than 48 hours excluding weekends or public holidays.
Personal Data Storage
Locations outside the South African Economic Area may be used for transferring data we collect about you. These data sites are for storing or processing of your information. The information we share outside the South African Economic Area may be shared with staff based on the process and storage of said data. It may include such processes as processing a payment or offering support for your service or product needs. The staff processing or storing information may work for our suppliers outside the South African Economic Area. By submitting your data to use you have agreed to this transfer and storage of data. We take all reasonable action to ensure the safety of your personal data in agreement with the Green Home Finance Privacy Policy.
Information we are provided will be stored on secure servers. Transaction data is encrypted for your safety.
You should understand data via online transmission is not completely secure. We cannot guarantee full protection and security data, only that we take all reasonable action to protect information sent to us electronically. Transmission of any data by you is at your own risk. Where applicable you may be given access to sections of our site that require a password. You are responsible for the passwords safety and confidentiality.
Green Home Finance is not responsible for any security breach, personal information leaked or supplied by any of the financial institutions or banks listed on our websites. They operate a completely independent of Green Home Finance and have their own terms and conditions.
Liability Limitation
Green Home Finance is not liable, under any circumstances, by claim or action in any form, for the outcome of any application made. In addition, Green Home Finance is not liable for the malfunction, loss of business, delays, interruption of service, loss or damage to exemplary damages, whether or not Green Home Finance was informed of the possibility of such claims or damages.
Title & Risk of Loss
Green Home Finance undertakes only to refer a visitor/customer to a listed Financial Institution, Bank or Insurance Service Provider. Title to the application process passes directly to the customer upon reaching the respective Financial Institution, Bank or Insurance Service Providers domain/website.
Green Home Finance will advise the customer of estimated delivery dates or application outcomes, but we will under no circumstances, be responsible for delays in delivery and associated damages for any reason whatsoever. These include events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God or public enemy, acts of state or local government, adverse weather, civil disobedience, strikes, lockouts, and freight embargoes.
Product Warranties
The Green Home Finance business model is based on a referral system. As such, all referrals made by Green Home Finance are processed by a Financial Institution, Banks or Insurance Service Providers chosen by the customer.
These may also include companies, agents, service providers, wholesalers or other distributors. The financial products are supplied with the Financial Institution, Banks or Insurance Service Providers terms and conditions, service agreement and support policy (if any) which is assigned and passed to the customer upon delivery.
It must be noted that Green Home Finance disclaims all warrantees that are not included in our disclaimer policy, privacy policy, returns policy plus our terms and conditions. All other warranties, regarding products, expressed or implied, including and without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are the responsibility of the Financial Institution or Insurance Service Provider, agent, service provider, wholesaler or distributor (whichever is applicable to the product sold). Similarly, any implied warranties arising from statute, trade usage, course of dealing or course of performance, are the responsibility of the Financial Institution, Bank or Insurance Service Provider , agent, service provider, wholesaler or distributor (whichever is applicable to the product sold). The customer acknowledges that it shall have recourse only under such warranties and only as against the Financial Institution or Insurance Service Provider, agent, service provider, wholesaler or distributor (whichever is applicable to the product sold).
Advertising
All products are advertised on an equal platform. Advertisers are first approved, before being allowed to advertise on our site. However, Green Home Finance is not responsible advertising content by business entities who advertise on our site. Advertising, once approved, may be uploaded and subsequently amended by the company advertising a product or service. There may be instances where the content advertised may be false, inaccurate, misleading, untrue, irrelevant or offensive. As such, Green Building Africa, at its sole discretion reserves the right to cancel any advertising agreement without notice and withdraw the advert without a refund.
Services Providers
All service providers listed have been checked and endorsed by Green Building Africa. We do our very best to apply our selection process properly. However, Green Home Finance accepts no responsibility for any loss and/ or damage which may occur as a result of a Green Home Finance referral to a listed service provider.
Product Listing
Green Home Finance does not recommend any one product or rate one product over another. Green Home Finance product descriptions are not intended to replace your personal product knowledge, experience and/or research. In addition we do not intend to replace your knowledge, opinion or experience of a Financial Institution or Insurance Service Provider.
We offer special deals for on-line purchase which are pre-negotiated with a specific supplier and/or installer. The Green Home Finance brand is new and we are fiercely protective over its integrity and credibility going forward. The success of the partnership is dependent on product quality and service from all stakeholders. We therefore choose our partner business entities wisely to ensure the customer is served properly. However, we do not take responsibility for any misconduct, service failure or non-delivery by any of our appointed business entity partners.
Any specifications and information communicated by Green Home Finance regarding products for sale are based directly on the communication supplied by the business entity who is supplying the product. We take no responsibility if such communication is false, inaccurate, misleading or offensive in any way.
Customer comments regarding their experience with products purchase on the Green Home Finance website are the opinions of the user. In our customer feedback platform, opinions and reviews may be used at the discretion of Green Home Finance for marketing purposes. We reserve the right to remove any unproven biased negative comments.

Pricing
If an error has been made with an incorrect advertised price for a specific product, Green Building Africa, at its sole discretion shall have the right to refuse or cancel any order for that product and immediately amend, correct or remove the inaccurate price displayed.
